Structure of the Inter-Institutional Program "MBA-Strategic Management and Competitiveness"

Degree Award Criteria:

  • To earn the "MBA in Strategic Management and Competitiveness," students must successfully complete five Thematic Units (TUs), which consist of four courses and/or one Master's Thesis.

Duration and Flexibility:

  • The program has a duration of four semesters (two years), but it offers both full-time and part-time attendance options, accommodating students' professional obligations.
  • In the first year of study, students may register for up to two modules. In the second year, they can register for the last two modules in parallel with the preparation of their Master's Thesis. The examination/presentation of the Master's Thesis takes place after the successful completion of all program modules.

Course Delivery:

  • Each Thematic Unit consists of nine meetings, each lasting nine hours, scheduled on predetermined dates. These meetings occur once a month on Saturdays or Sundays, making it convenient for working professionals to participate.
  • While attendance at meetings is not compulsory, they provide valuable clarifications and insights into the subject matter. Additionally, they often feature guest speakers from the business world related to the course topics.

Study Materials and Assignments:

  • At the beginning of each academic year for each Subject Module, students receive a "Detailed Study Timetable" to guide their subject matter coverage.
  • During each subject, students are required to prepare four written assignments, which must be submitted on predetermined dates outlined in the "Detailed Study and Written Assignment Timetable." To participate in final examinations, students must achieve a total grade of at least 20 points based on the submitted assignments (at least three).

Language of Instruction:

  • The language of instruction for the MSc program is Greek. However, knowledge of English is essential for program attendance.

Tuition Fees:

  • Tuition fees for the MSc program are set at 4,800 Euro for the "Strategic Business Management" specialization and 4,000 Euro for the "Competitiveness and Development Strategies" specialization, regardless of whether students choose full-time or part-time attendance.
  • Each academic year, students are responsible for the payment of subjects they select for study.

Department Creation:

  • A minimum of thirty students is required to establish a department for the program.
