For the completion of the studies of the Inter-Institutional Program of Postgraduate Studies "Strategic Management and Competitiveness" the elaboration of a diploma thesis is required. The student is asked to use the knowledge gained from the Program and to write a primary research under the supervision of a Professor.

The in-depth investigation of the issue which interests the students requires a structured and thorough approach for the resolution of the relevant issues. The master's thesis must answer the following questions:

• why the subject needs research from an academic point of view,
• what is the contribution of the issue from a practical point of view, and 
• what are the consequences of the application of the results of the research paper both on a theoretical and a practical level.
