Objective of the Postgraduate Program "MBA - Strategic Management and Competitiveness with specialization in Strategic Management" - which is a continuation for the 4th year of the postgraduate program of the Department of Economics of EKPA "Management of Economic Organiazations with the Master's degree Strategic Management is the training of postgraduate students on the subject of strategic managementby developing the culture and skills required to create managers in the public and private sectors, able to understand the corporate challenges and opportunities created in the modern ever-changing competitive environment and to design and implement innovative and effective business policies and strategies, utilizing and upgrading the competitive advantage of the companies / organizations they serve. The Curriculum is as follows:

1st Thematic Unit: Background Courses I (30 ECTS)

  • History of Businesses and Organizations
  • Management of Organizations Theory and Practice
  • Human Resource Management

2nd Thematic Unit: Background Courses II (30 ECTS)

  • Microeconomics and Managerial Economics
  • Macroeconomic and Economic Development
  • Theories of  the Firm

3rd Thematic Unit: Key Strategy Issues (20 ECTS)

  • Introduction to Quantitative Methods
  • Accounting and Finance Principles for Executives
  • Management Science

4th Thematic Unit: Special Themes of Strategy (20 ECTS) (One of the following two groups is selected)

    Group A

  • Strategic Management.
  • International Business Strategy
  • Strategic Marketing

    Group B

  • Strategy for International Competitiveness of Companies and Nations
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management
  • Development Financing Tools

5th Thematic Unit: Diploma Thesis (20 ECTS)

Total Curriculum Credits: 120 ECTS
