3rd Thematic Unit: Key Strategy Issues (20 ECTS)
The thematic unit "Key Strategic Issues" creates the necessary background knowledge for senior business executives across the range of business history, marketing and quantitative methods necessary for the operation of the business.
In the subsection "Management Science" the required theory is presented through examples, problem solving, methods and use of software . In this way, the student is given the opportunity to develop skills in forming and solving business models and decision making. The following items are covered:

In the subsection "Accounting and Finance principles for Managers", we will deal with the overview of the basic principles that govern financial operations. The course aims to present and analyze the theory and practical applications of Accounting and Financial Management, as well as the development of Investment Analysis and introduction of Portfolio Management. - Complex numbers (definition, complex plane (Argand plane), complex number measure, polar (trigonometric) complex form, exponential complex form, Euler type, conjugate complex, complex roots of quadratic polynomial equation (forces)
