Yiannis Saratsis, Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly

Yiannis Saratsis holds a Ph.D in Planning and Regional Development. He is a Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) on Regional Policy and Programs Planning and Evaluation at the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly. He is affiliated with the South and East European Development Center, the Laboratory for Evaluation of Development Policies and Programs and the Laboratory of Regional Economic Analysis and Policy, University of Thessaly. He is also a Trainer at the National Center of Public Administration and Local Government. His main research interests include Spatial Dimension of Development, Local and Regional Development, Development Planning and Program Evaluation, EU Policies, Spatial Governance, Tourism Development, Urban Development and Sustainability and teaches relevant courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has participated in a large number of European and national (Greek) research projects and he has published several research articles in various journals, collective volumes and conference proceedings.
